The defined shop package

Javea Web Design offers a defined WooCommerce package for €1,995 + IVA. It includes up to 30 products, secure checkout, payment setup, agreed delivery rules and the first year of hosting. Work outside that scope is identified and priced separately.

Product numbers are only one part of the quotation

Thirty straightforward products can require less work than five products with many sizes, colours, optional extras and different delivery restrictions. A useful quotation should ask how the products are structured rather than counting them without context.

The business must supply accurate product names, descriptions, prices, tax treatment and photographs. We organise and upload the agreed catalogue and check that variations and purchasing choices are understandable.

Payments, tax and delivery

The shop needs a suitable payment provider and a clear decision about the countries or areas it will serve. Collection, local delivery, national shipping and international fulfilment create different rules.

Tax treatment is a business and accounting matter. The website can apply the confirmed settings, but the business or its adviser must decide which rates and invoice requirements are correct.

Work that sits outside a basic shop

Subscriptions, appointment booking, trade pricing, marketplace feeds, complex multilingual catalogues and live connections to accounting or warehouse systems require separate planning. The same applies when a shop needs unusual product builders or delivery calculations that cannot be handled safely with standard rules.

These requirements should appear in the quotation. They should not emerge after the basic shop has been approved.

Costs that continue after launch

The initial build price is not the shop's only cost. Payment providers normally charge transaction fees. Hosting renews and some specialist extensions carry annual licences. The catalogue also needs someone to maintain prices, stock, descriptions and discontinued products.

Ask who owns each software account, who receives payment notifications and what happens to paid licences if the website moves to another provider.

Test the complete buying route

Testing must cover more than the product page. A real order path includes the basket, delivery choice, tax, payment, confirmation page and the emails sent to the customer and business. Refund and failed-payment behaviour should also be understood before the shop starts taking orders.

The quotation comparison guide explains how to compare build scope and recurring charges. For the defined shop package, see ecommerce web design.
