Website management

We can look after your website after launch.

A business website can become another job on the list. Pages need changing, forms can develop problems and software needs attention. If you would rather not deal with that yourself, Jon can look after it for you.

The jobs that build up

Tell us what needs attention.

You do not have to diagnose the problem first. Explain what you want to change or what is not working and we can identify the sensible next step.

Change the content

Update services, prices, opening details, team information and photographs.

Add something useful

Prepare an agreed page, news item, project or customer question.

Check an enquiry route

Investigate a form, email delivery problem or broken call to action.

Fix the display

Correct layout, navigation or mobile problems on an agreed website.

Maintain WordPress

Handle appropriate software updates, safe copies and routine technical checks.

Work out what happened

Investigate an unfamiliar warning, error or unexpected change before deciding on a repair.

Website hosting

Keeps the website online.

Hosting provides the server where the website runs. It can include software updates, safe copies and help when the hosted website develops a technical fault.See hosting and technical support →

Website management

Keeps the website useful.

Management covers the hands-on work needed when information changes, pages need attention or the business wants someone to deal with the website on its behalf.

Two starting points

The first check depends on who built the website.

A Javea Web Design website

We already know how the website was built and what was agreed. We can discuss the current job and whether one-off help or an ongoing arrangement makes more sense.

An existing WordPress website

We inspect the hosting, software, access, licences and current condition first. That tells us whether the website can be managed safely and what needs correcting before regular work begins.

Choose the level of help

You do not have to commit to more than the website needs.

Ongoing management

Someone keeps an eye on the website and handles agreed work.

  • Regular WordPress care
  • Agreed content changes
  • Forms and important pages checked
  • Larger requests identified before extra work begins

One-off help

Something specific needs changing or investigating.

  • A page or photograph needs updating
  • A form or feature has stopped working
  • An unfamiliar message needs checking
  • The website needs an initial health check

Clear scope

We agree what is being looked after.

The arrangement should identify the website, the access available and the work included. A small correction may be handled as ordinary management. A redesign, new system, large content project or recovery from a serious security incident needs a separate assessment and quotation.

Start with a conversation

Tell Jon what is becoming a nuisance.

Send the website address and explain what needs changing or what has gone wrong. We can start with the immediate problem and discuss ongoing help if it would be useful.
