Google Business Profile

Help local customers find the right business information.

A Google Business Profile is the listing that can appear in Google Maps and local search results. We prepare it around the real business, connect it to the website and help with submission. Google decides whether the business is eligible and how it must be verified.

What the profile is for

Give customers one reliable place to check the basics.

Where you areA genuine customer-facing address or the areas served by the business.

When you are availableAccurate opening or service hours that the business can maintain.

What you doA suitable primary category, relevant services and a clear business description.

How to actA working telephone number and a direct link to the right website page.

Check eligibility first

The way the business meets customers matters.

Google normally requires in-person contact with customers during the stated hours. A business should be represented as it operates in real life, rather than made to look local through a borrowed office or mailbox.

Customers visit the premises

Storefront business

A real staffed location with permanent signs can normally display its address.

You travel to customers

Service-area business

The operating address is used for verification but hidden from the public profile when customers are not served there.

No in-person customer contact

Online-only business

An online-only operation is not normally eligible for a Business Profile.

Before submission

We build one accurate business record.

The profile should agree with the website, signage and the evidence the owner can supply. We resolve contradictions before they become a verification problem.

Customers come to you

Show the address only when the location genuinely receives customers.

The name, address, signs and opening hours should describe the premises customers will actually find.

You go to the customer

Use a service area and keep a non-customer address private.

A plumber, installer or other mobile service should not present a home or administrative address as a public storefront.

Google chooses the method

The business completes the verification.

Google may offer video, telephone, email, postcard or another method depending on the profile. The available route is not something a designer can select or guarantee.

If Google asks for a video, the owner may need to show:

  • The operating area or premisesStreet signs, nearby landmarks or the customer-facing location.

  • Evidence that the business existsPermanent signs, equipment, a branded vehicle or suitable business documents.

  • Proof of managementAccess to staff-only areas, tools, systems or assets that a customer would not control.

An important limit

Submission is included. Approval and visibility are not guaranteed.

Google controls eligibility, verification, suspension, reinstatement and what appears in local results. We prepare an accurate profile and help the business avoid preventable problems, but we cannot override Google's decisions.

Start with a conversation

Tell us how the business meets its customers.

A real address, service area and short explanation of how the work is delivered are enough to start checking the right setup.
